adripsx save question

Hello I have downloaded a version of adripsx a playstaion 1 emulator because my playstaion2 broke so I can’t play my games (ps1) on it. I am using the original game disk of monster rancher 2. It works fine but the thing is I don’t have the save that I did when I was playing with my memory card on the playstaion. I have put the mem card save file on my pc which has come up as a .gme file.
Is there any way that I can play this save file on the emulator?
Can I convert it to the save type of the emulator and play my save?

I've never tried that emulator so I don't know what format the memory cards must be in but the PSXGameEdit can convert between different formats, including your GME. It can be found here: -->http://moberg-dybdal.dk/psxge/
