PLEASE HELP!

I've been at this for hours. I downloaded epsxe and petes open plugins, i have all of my original psx discs and i tried to make an iso image of them using alcohol 120%, but the epsxe emulator just shows a black screen and an error message saying 'sorry but we have encountered a problem and need to close'. Any ideas on what i've done wrong?

i never could get epsxe to work, but i tried psx and so far so good! whew
