which snes controller?

i've been trying to figure out which one to buy for snes emulation.
this one http://store.videogamecentral.com/us...ontroller.html is supposed to be plug and play, but i don't know actually how good it is.
Another choice would be to buy an actual snes controller http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-sns-1...5456199&sr=8-3
and buy an adapter like this

Which one's probably better?

You can get an snes pad for dirt cheep and an adapter for 10-20 bucks.

Or you could make one for 10 bucks, if you have the skils.
