transfering save information

i'm using zsnes and project 64, and we are going to be formatting our drive in a month or so, as windows is suffering from bit rot. I was wondering what i need to copy onto a disc so that i can use all the save game data and save states that i have. I'm guessing for project64, i only need to save the roms and the files in the c:/programfiles/project64 1.6/saves, but tell me if i'm wrong
