Emulating ON a PSP

hey guys
my friend has a psp and he cant get any disks to work in it
everything else works fine so we deemed it to be a hardware issue
now since it cant play sony games, we want to emulate games such on it
the only problem is, we cant seem to get anything to work that websites throw at it
i decided to see if anyone on here knew what to do/ were willing to help us becuase you seem to know what your talking about
help us out and ill be in your debt forever

Well first of all it has to be a hacked PSP. Any official sony firmware wont be able to play emulators on it. It has to be an OE or M33 firmware to play emulators on it.(dont know if there are others) You should look around for ways to hack your PSP but be careful because it could cause it to brick and now work anymore. But once your able to succesfully hack it you can install emulators on it no problem

What PSP do you have PSP 1000,2000,3000

Also what firmware do you have you do know you need Dark-Alex firmware to run home brew games and emulators.
