use epsxe instead

you can get it there
Hello everyone. Just last night the emu was working fine. However, today when I try to get into it, my computer is giving me an error message saying the following:
Windows cannot access the specified device, pat, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to continue.
Also, my anti-virus guard popped up claiming that the PSX emu was a trojan, and no matter how I approached it, it just will not fix.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I pulled it open again, and now the virus program claims the following:
While opening file: *insert file directory to the PSX Emu*
Trojan horse Generic10.WAH
If I heal it, it deletes the .exe of the emulator. if I ignore, nothing happens, and I'm back to square one. : /

I am already using the EPSXE emulator lol.
my bad, try downloading from that source then, I know its clean
Just did, and it didn't work. For some reason, I think the trojan has attached itself to this specific .exe file name. What a pain. Hopefully someone has a solution to the trojan itself. If all else fails, I'll just DL a different emulator.
Thanks for your help though man.
This is a known issue and its not carrying anything dangerous it just has certain heuristics that make some Av programs identify it as a threat - its not.
have your PC Scanned properly,Also, my anti-virus guard popped up claiming that the PSX emu was a trojan, and no matter how I approached it, it just will not fix.
natively, no anti-virus now detects the EPSXE binary (exe file) to be malicious
it might have been modified to contain a patched virus code (code attachs to the file hence, whenever EPSXE is run [or any other EXE on your PC that might have been infected] will run the virus code again)
backup your data first, do a scan, and post here the FILESIZE and VERSION of your EPSXE EXE file.
if you unzip your EPSXE files again, it will probably get patched again by the running virus on your PC.
does this happen only with EPSXE or does it happen with your other programs too? :-/
It started workin again 2 days ago... : /
So... weird....
I took all suggestions into account, and they hadn't worked. I just booted up the PC the next day and it did. No more problems. Thanks again though guys, it's much appreciated.
Update to epsxe 1.7 for it was out yesterday.
