converting saves from No$gba to vba

right im trying to convert my pokemon.SAV file from No$gba to vba. So far ive got it to a SGM? file but when i try to load the state i get "Unsupported VisualBoyAdvanced save game version 1633906510" is there another way to move my save file to vba?

EDIT: also when i load the pokemon game i get "The save file is corrupted.The previous save file will be loaded."

I am also having trouble trying to convert saves, but instead from VBA pc to VBA mac.
