An original or an ISO have same effect no matter what. Why not try Xebra.![]()
Okay I tried searching the forums but I haven't seen anyone else with this problem. Whenever I'm on the world map screen the mist looks all crappy. Like part of it is okay but these white pixelated triangles pop up all over the place. I'm guessing I can change the video settings somehow to fix it but I'm not sure what to do.
I'm running Epsxe 1.5.2 since the game doesn't work that well with 1.6. I'm using Pete's OpenGL2 2.8 and I have it configured to the "Nice" settings. I had to adjust my framerate since it was going to fast. So I put an FPS limit of 60 on there. Any ideas?
EDIT: BTW, I am using the orignal disc not an ISO.

Hello markulous,
It might be you don't have dithering On. Try turning it on in the gpu settings.
Hello friend, usimg the psx emulator version 1.12 or 1.13 but using the Two bios 1 is the scph1001.bin 2 scph39001.bin recomend using emulator version 1.12
How can I tell if I have dithering on? Here is a screenshot...

Ow, that's fucked up. Have you tried with different video plugins?
Using another plugins or try anoter plugin version.
well, you're not telling us one thing.
Your HARDWARE!
Update your Video Drivers,
if you're sure that your drivers are update, then it is your video card (whichever Model you have) \\game runs fine on voodoo3 'what more on newer models and other chipsets'
if the problem persists, you're better of using Soft GPU 'PeOps Soft GPU' should fix that.
of course, for compatibility, there's Xebra and pSX

Well I'm almost done with the game now so it's not that big of a deal. I'm kind of used to it.
But for the heck of it my video card is a Radeon X1950 Pro. And I have the newest drivers for it. I tried a different plugin but it still did the same thing. But like I said, I'm almost done with the game...Hopefully it doesn't do it on the next game I play(I'm thinking about playing Wild Arms again, I'm not sure...).
