EPSXE trouble

I have it all configured correctly, or so I think. When I go to RunCDROM, the program freezes. What is being done incorrect?

Ok I got it to run but gameplay is going too fast. what do I do to slow it down?

You have to configure the graphics plugin....... In the options menu check fps limit, and set it to let's say........ 60 FPS. That should do the trick
