dos box help

hey, i am trying to runa game on dosbox, but it keeps giving me this message each time.

error: cant change video mode to 320x240x16 bits

switch to 640x480x16 bits? (y/n)

and when i hit yes, the screen looks all messed up, and i dunno how to fix it.

this happens each time i try to run the game.

BTW: i just got dosbox, i never used it before, and i need help on what to do

Whats the name of the game you are trying to run ?

What Windows Or Linux are you running ?

We need to know these things if you want help
