How to save your game on Sonic CD (useing an emulator)

Does anyone know how to save your game on Sonic CD using an emulator, such as Kega, cause I can't figure it out.

I thought there was some sort of in-game save option? As long as the Internal memory isn't full and setup to save, it should be as easy as finding the option in the game..

I haven't played it in a long time though. Sorry I can't be of much help. You might be able to google it up perhaps?

In Sonic CD quicksaves works only if you don't leave your current area.
