Yes, mac emulators like snes can run on MAC but you need snes games called SNES ROMS to run SNES MAC emulator on your MAC. Google is your friend to find snes/mnes, and gba roms for your MAC emulator.

MAC is okay because not many emulators out there for MAC. Windows are the best one because too many emulators are available for windows. I personally prefer windows.

I really dunno, but the roms are the files containing data right? So i don't think there is any "special roms" just for mac.

The ROM files should work just fine, since their just the file .smc/.swc/.rom/.(etc), just not the "emulator" (program) itself since it's only designed to run on certain operations. Never know until yea try.

Rom files are universal. Just like a web page, no matter what browser or computer you are using. As long as the emulator performs all the basic functions of the machine, properly, the game will always look and sound the same.

Yeah, Zach said it better then I did... Files types should work on any OS, hence "universal", just need the program that runs them correctly on the OS your using.
