But what are the R and L keys for super nintendo? I've been browsing through the read me files, I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

They're just additional buttons that can have different uses depending of the game. The NES has only two primary buttons (A and B) while the SNES has 4 more buttons (X, Y, L and R). The difference is that L and R buttons are placed atop the controller, so they're called triggers, like a gun.

Yah, I know what they "are", but I mean with using th emulator (ZSNES) which keys are used for those commands? (Also, what about the start and select button =D)?

Look at the input configuration (Config --> Input #X, where X is the gamepad number you want to configure).
