Genesis Controller adapter

I am trying to get a Genesis controller to work on my PC, i made the adapter but when i installed NTPAD, my controller doesnt work, i went into the properties and it says that up is always being pushed down i recalibrate it and nothing happens, any ideas?

It is best if you show the screenshots. Not everyone have the same controller adapter that you have. Try to have screenshot so we can try to see what we can do to help you through it. I bought adapter of three things at once: Ps2, gamecube, and xbox and they are perfectly fine to plug and play right away with no calibrate requirements at all.
