What kind of pad plugin do you use?

I have PSXeven, and the pad plugin that I use doesnt let me press the start button, so I was wondering what kind of pad plugins other people used. I've tried the segu direct input keyboard plugin, and the start button doesnt work, so i tried the Hakari Pad plugin, and no buttons work, i probably did something wrong with the hakari one, so if anyone could help me that'd be great.

Hello jibonader,

I use SSSPSX Pad plugin. You can also use N-rage and TSG Direct Input but
there is others you can use. The Harari works but you must select the Device.
On the the config pad screen you have to hit add then press the button for up
then see the key config look at the box with the little arrow press it the select the
word down the hit the add key and press the down button on the game pad.
You have do that for all the keys.
