Default Controller causes epsxe error message

I recently got a cheapie Logitech Precision controller to use with epsxe, and every time I try to use one of the d-pad buttons, I get an error message and then epsxe closes. The computer seems to respond to the controller ok otherwise....I can use/set all the buttons in the gamepad setup screen and I can at least use the X button ok (haven't gotten far enough to be able to use any of the other ones), but the directional buttons always give an error. What's going wrong? The error message says "Opcode 3F UNK (PC 000ca750)(1991,10)" if that helps any.

    hello Anya7,

I don't know about your problem but your probably going to have to try a different
emulator because as far as i know epsxe does not support pad plugins other than the
    one it comes with.

That isn't a pad plugin, he means a pad entirely, as for that, hmmm i don't think that's a pad error? I got that while trying to play Wipeout 2097, i think it's your video plugin, which one are you using?
    I will never give up,
    That is my nindo.
    My ninja way!
