Default Want to help the pcsx2 emulator...

What the title says, is what i want to do. I was tryin' to run Metal Gear Solid 2 (SOL) on my pc and since it didn't work to well i decided to learn to patch or improve the emulator for myself and others, not just for MGS2. I now know that i can't just start makin patches...I need to learn C and C++. Can anyone direct me to some tutorials that a noob like me could read up on. I can't find any good ones most require some background knowledge and i don't know anything.

    Thx for the help...

You would need the source code for the emulator before you have to worry about learning a programing language, but you can only get it if the emulator is open source. If its not, then you can't do nothing about it.

A quick google of Learn C brought me this page http://www.cyberdiem.com/vin/learn.html it has links to guides but I'd probably go for a book from the library
