i also have the same problem before,but when i enable the sound the game not:) stuck after i win the battle.
For some reason now, it gives me a fatal error with something to do with the image and it crashes, any ideas on why that is occuring?
did you you no$gba emulator,if so what version it is

unlimited Mhz-disaster 50%
vga poppy bright
flash 512kb
digital mono
low 10 khz fast
No$GBA Version 2.4b yet my version still crashes after the first battle...
:ptry my emulatoin option.then tell me if you still have problem.
List your full configuration and I'll try and match it. However, I still seem to be freezing after the first battle when your in the forest. I don't know why.
emulator speed,lcd refresh:unlimited Mhz-disaster 50%
reset/startup entrypoint:start catridge directly
video output:24 true colour
gba mode:vga poppy bright
nds catridge backup media:flash 512kb
sound output mode:digital mono(fast)
sound desired sample rate:low(10 Khz)(fast)
at the control option,
joystick/gamepad:disable(fast)
other are default.
