Why PSXeven ? Xebra, pSX, and ePSXe are the best emulators that runs 95% games perfectly

Are you crazy? pSX is not better than Psxeven_v0.19 try play wild arms 2, Dino Crisis, Legacy of Kain, Need For Speed 3, Crash Team Racing,Parasite Eve 2,Tomb Raider 1, Tomb Raider 2 are not playable. and that's not mentioning games that have clitches like Castlevania SOTN with works without those glitches on Psxeven _v0.19. It will be along time before pSX gets near the compatibility of Psxeven. (BTW And Thats Using the pSX v1.11. Good emulator but not as good as PSXeven_v0.19)

As far as SSSPSX goes try and play Apocalypse,Crash banditcoot 2, Crash banditcoot Warped,Capcom vs Snk pro,Resident Evil 3 (Missing Audio),Rigde Racer Revolution, and Gex. And thats with SSSPSX v.32 and if your are using the
SSSPSX v.34 i believe that compatibility goes down cause Castlevania SOTN Works Fine on SSSPSX v.32 But on SSSPSX v.34 sound goes out. and if you read the changes for the SSSPSX v.34 the author changed something which he himself did not know how it would effect games.

Xebra i don't mess around with it too much, but it is ok if you want to play at a resolution of 320*200.

And Finally epsxe Have you look at Resident Evil 2, Rayman 2, not to mention the this appearing memory card trick now you see now you don't. epsxe does have the best compatability, but not the quality.

And the reason I only made a PSXeven_v0.19 is because i could not find one with games tested from begining to End.

While I Have Fully Test only 2 games, Castlevania STON and Legacy Of Kain on SSSPSX It Was on Ubuntu 6.10 Wine 9.32 I Do have a Compatibilty List for the SSSPSXv.32.

Yeah, that's why I use Xebra. Try it and you will be amazed! Tron Ni Kobun runs flawless on Xebra but not pSX. :)

pSX and Xebra is an accurate psx emulators like bsnes is an accurate snes emulator.

pSX and Xebra are still update and very active. PSXeven is sleep and last released on April, 29, 2005.

Yeah I know its pretty much dead but it has higher compatibility & quality for now. I can't wait until pSX surpass it. I have tried xebra and i usually get sound problems with it, so i usually use it just to play CTR.

Note on Gex : Got to check make sure it was not a corrupt save state will try it tomorrow to check if its that.

Sorry but FF6 didn't work well. The transition into the cave after the palace didn't load and it just hangs. Using the same plugins I switched to epsxe and it worked.

Sorry but i have not fully tested Final Fantasy 6 yet, but it's rumored to work. I have made in to the figuro with no problems. Was that Pal FF6? Because all my images are US. Or If you were you using save state your save state might be corrupt. But I will Test the area you are talking about to see if it does the same for me.

It was fine up to figaro for me too. Complete that sequence and head to the cave. Going in causes the error.
Yes it is the PAL version.
I replicated using the saved game twice. I then moved the saved game to epsxe and ran it there and it worked fine.

Also note that there is slight corruption sometimes after winning a battle. It goes all RGB rather than a clean wipe back to the map. This is minor however and doesn't effect gameplay.

I will try to check today probably around 10:00pm but i don't know if it will
help you because all my games are US NTSC. I don't know if you know that
certain games won't work if there NTSC or PAL just depends on the emulator.

Just got inside the cave with no problem. Also i have not encountered the
RGB glitch your talking about. I guess it's an issue with the PAL version of the
game or the PAL Bios.

BTW Try using it with the ntsc spch1001 bios.

Wo, PSXeven update? I haven't used it in 3 years and I recall with the version I had, I had xenogears working perfectly. Gonna go scope this.

However, I do not think it is very good emulator. It is not so bad emulator, really. Everything looks pretty good with this emulator, speed and compatibility are nice but it is not very good emulator, thought. :)

Thanks. I think it's the second most compatible emulator for psx. The only one more compatible is epsxe and some games on epsxe work as good as they do on PSXeven_v.019. To me it's a very good emulator.

I not 100% sure but i think all the plugin based emulators are capable of going online if you have the net plugin.

I tried putting netplay and cyberpad plugins in the plugins folder of PSXeven but I can't seem to be able to go online. This is a shame because of all the emulators I've tried, PSXeven is the only one which is running the game I want to play perfectly - Olympic Soccer.

I wish there was a way to get PSXeven online.

I'll try and see if i can go online with it and let you if it does.
