I was wondering what you would have to do to play NES roms on a playstation 2. Would you have to get a modchip, and what emulator would you use? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure there were a whole bunch of threads about this issue. I forgot how to do it though. Try doing a forum search.
It's impossible, trust me, i know
You will need a MODCHIP, an emulator called It Might Be NES and a CDR drive to make a CD.Quote:

about the modchip you must have one which can play PS ONE discs in your PS2 if you plan to burn on CD-R ,it's another story if you have to burn on DVD-R.
ALSO YOU MUST GO TO WWW.GAMEBASE.CA TO LEARN EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ROMS YOU CAN PLAY IN YOUR PS2.
Why dont you just get a NES emulator on computer?
It always better to play roms on consoles!
It's a new experience and it's much better experience :)
You don't stay sitted on a chair and stay hours before your monitor, with PS2 you just get cosy at a sofa and you play from there and when you are annoyed you just press one button to turn off your CONSOLE.Yeah that's definitely much better experience i would say
I am looking for the same thing, only not for NES games, more for arcade games. The main one I'd like is Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Ghosts n' Goblins (both Capcom) but also Sengoku/Sengoku 2 (SNK/Neogeo)
If you play your PC emulated games on a TV with a joypad connected to your PC it's the same sh*t.Quote:
