let's see now. you want to know the requesites for the emulators to work. If you have a modded ps2 simply read the instructios for usage(burning a cd with your emu or with your roms or putting it all in a pen or memcard etc....) there are several ways that are proposed by the emu authors or distributers. If you have a non-modded ps2(maybe because your afraid that it might mess up your console or because you don't want it open) i recommend using a swap method like using the swap disc.

So people burn the files into the cds and play it on their real ps 2?
You got it  I suggest you to follow the Snes Station guide on its site. Make a forum search to find it out.
It's also possible to play it on memory cards or HDs sometimes, but you need special hardware and a compatible emulator.
I'm pretty sure you need to mod your ps2. I'm not familiar w/ps2 emus cause I play it on xbox. You need to mod your ps2 if you want to play copied games or stuff that you burned out. My xbox is soft-modded btw
yeah, i figured i needed to mod it, but i also have no clue what the swap disc method is. and has anyone has any problems with their modded ps2's?
About swap, check this site. Of course it's posibble to use emulators with the swap methods.
what i meant to say by messing up your ps2 by modding it is because some ps2 become defective and unstable with some mod-chips or by the way you use the ps2. some people(like me) have had a playstation(my case) or playstation2 modded and after a short time it began to fail reading some cds. it's not always like this but since my psx got seriously and literately fucked up I prefer to use now the swap method on my ps2 simply by buying swap disc and the slide card
Is there an emulator that can play GBA games on the ps2?
I don't think so.
 You're kidding me. I've had my psx since 1998 and it still reads discs fine. It was modded in 98 also.Quote:

How about when I said right over there "IT's NOT ALWAYS LIKE THIS" hun? I said that because there are people that prefer swap methods instead of modding their console. I don't have anything against modchips.:my_withstQuote:
