DeSmuMe...0.9.5 or 0.9.7 or the Nosse2 file you get with it, in case it doesn't work on your computer.

The 8MB Debugger Trick with DeSmuMe
Config > Emulation Setting > Check “Use 8MB debugger mode when starting execution” and Click “Ok”

I would suggest you do what I do keep both NO$GBA 2.6a & DeSmuMe 0.9.7. Use VBA for your GBA games and use the 8MB Debugger Trick with DeSmuMe.
