View Full Version : Best emulator for DS?

I've been lookin all over the web for a emulator that can run Animal crossing but I can't get one that works. Can anyone offer any help?

You must understand that DS emulation is still in its earliest development stage, so don't expect your games to run smootly and/or playable.

The best so far is NO$GBA.

Darn... Well I no$gba but it gets stuck right after the nintendo screen and plays a horrible sound over and over again.

Do you have the files ?

BIOSNDS7.ROM
BIOSNDS9.ROM
eNDryptS Advanced.exe
PatchEngine.dat

With these files i managed to play some games at full speed with no$gba2.4a

May be the B version is even better.

The games that played great at full speed were Kirby and Super princess peach.

I believe that B is the only version that causes D/P to run much faster compared to anything it was running on before. I had massive lag whenever I was walking outside or indoor while using an old version of No$GBA until I upgraded it to 2.4B. Now it's a lot faster with everything, no lag whatsoever.

Still No$gba is not good i mean it's speed is impressive but it cannot play no one of the Castlevanias for the DS , for what you use an emulator for if not for castlevania i wonder ?

The last phrase was for the author of No$gba , but anyway i am just kidding :)

Why do you need them ? No$gba 2.4b do not need to be encrypted anymore. Make sure your gbabios is not there. Changing it to "Start Cartridge directly"
and it can run decrypted roms without a problem. :)

I didn't know that man. That's why when i opened the roms they didn't need to be decrypted anymore. Still it cannot play Castlevanias so it's not worth a thing. :)

I still get the same lag as with the old No$GBA! What settings are ya using then? :dry:
