If I want to play gba games and nds games then I would buy nds lite but if you want game boy and game boy color and game boy advance then yeah, you should but there are many emulators fully playable on those games. That's your choose. :)
Ok I think I'm gonna buy this. Just wanted to hear you opinions:) I want to be able to play GBA games without using the domputer. And i don't want to buy NDS because I allready have a psp.

Good luck but you should know that many 3rd parties are not supporting a psp very much. They are all supporting NDS right now so psp is getting bad. I like psp because of cool looking but the games..geez, not good right now.
I recommend you to buy NDS because game boy sp is getting old and not popular right now unless you want to play old game boy classic then that's fine but since you want to play gba games then NDS is best for you. Hey, that's my opinion. Maybe some people would agreed with me.
It'd be good if you get a Nintendo DS instead of a Game Boy Advance since the Nintendo DS has backward compatibility with Game Boy Advance.

If your psp is downgradable you could run the GBA emulator called gpSP.
Its got excellent compatibilty and most games now run with sound and saves.
Although some games may run with glitches and a little slower then they do on a real GBA.

The only problem is that I haven't a unpatched version of GTA: Liberty City Stories and I don't know anyone who does.

I also suggest getting the ds. DS lite actually. The games are great and fun.
Actually none of the DS games seems interesting to me. So I think I'm going to buy a GBA SP:)

That's not what we meant. If you want GBA games then you should buy Nintendo DS Lite because it allowed you to play gba games on Nintendo DS lite. Why buy GBA SP ? It is getting old. Well, that's your decision. For us, we would buy Nintendo DS Lite just for GBA games like you said. Whatever, that's your decision. :o

One more thing to point out is that the ds lite screen is bigger than all of the nintendo handheld systems and its also the brightess.

Buy a GBA if our only going to play GBA games on it. They are cheap, loads of accessoires out there for it, games are also reletively cheap.
Buying a NDS just to play GBA is like buy a Wii to play NES games.
