N64 Game Framerate

Is there any way to play 3d games with a higher framerate on an N64 emu? OOT runs around 25FPS and sometimes drops to 15 in complex scenes. This is due to the N64's lack of graphical power, I think.

I've got an extremely fast Geforce 7900 GT and a nice 2 GHz Core Duo processor, so my system is definitely capable of cranking out more FPS, which would look great, I think. I can't figure out how to do it. Stopping the speed limiter makes the game run in fast forward at like 200FPS.

Any way to uncap the N64's frame limiter?

I figured as much, *sigh* oh well.

Maybe Wii virtual console will change it :)

Not even Wii, I think. These games have a fixed frame rate.
