I suggest visiting update.windows.com regularly as of late.

That has nothing to do with MSN Messenger.

Yeah, heh. You'd be a fool to keep that damned service running anyway.

Rocky, what part of "this has nothing to do with MSN Messenger" don't you get?

RockY

Waz... Trillian is better anyway

Jet Set Willy

Yeah, I know, it's one of the only pieces of software I've ever actually paid for. But why mention it? None of this has anything to do with IM programs.

You bought Trillian instead of using GAIM?

Jet Set Willy

I haven't enough space on my hard disk to run two OSes anymore :(

RockY

how much space do you have 30 GB?

Jet Set Willy

Off Topic:
Regarding that matter, I finally found drivers for my Rockwell chipset(>modem) for linux.

I just need to find the time to install redhat(I got all 3 isos :)) and try them.

I have all three ISO's as well. If only my CD-RW drive hadn't broken :( Oh well, I found a hell of a deal on newegg, $40 or so for a Lite On.

I have GAIM on my WinXP laptop, Waz. I haven't used it yet, but that's only because I haven't connected that computer to the internet yet.

Jet Set Willy
10-18-2003, 18:34
Yeah, but why would I wanna use it over Trillian? It's poop.

El Fugitivo
10-18-2003, 18:46
I dunno. Like I said, I haven't used it yet.

It's the cackmonkey's skids.

Zach

Trillian is definitely one of the better clients, still has it's own annoying issues though

Jet Set Willy

I tell you, use GAIM and you'll soon forget all about them.

To download the Update and try to mend this problem asap...
I think I can't get rid of MSN Messenger... I rely on it too much...

This response might be kind of, y'know, out of date,
but still, this is my recommendation ;)
