WIth SSF Do I have to burn a CD to play the game?

I got to this screen so thats a sign that the emulator works for me and I also downloaded Alone in the Dark 2. Do I have to burn that onto a disk with Nero or Alcohol or can I just play it like all those other emulator program (You know haveng the rom in the same folder as the emulator without having to burn anything at all)

I think it's better to mount the ISO images you got with Daemon Tools virtual drive, so install it if needed. Now start SSF -> Options -> Peripheral -> CD Drive -> select the emulated DT drive and reset.

Awww man...Now all I get is the sound of when the system is starting up but no picture.

I'd try to enable/disable "Options" -> "Screen" -> "Use Directdraw". Can't you even see the BIOS loading screen?

The game that I was just playing is Panzer Dragoon. Its a little choppy so now I am trying to configure it so that it runs smoothly. Any tips?
