if it came in a zipped folder, try unzipping and playing the .gba file

It has something to do with the version of ur VBA. Try using older versions like 1.7.0 same thing happened to me

cat, edit button, you can't say where to get ROMs
i herd that PK:E was not able to save normally on VBA 1.8.0
but that has been fixed in the latest beta and works on VBA link 1.7.3
I tryed what you guys sead but it didn't help:(

playing it right now on VBA link, must be a bad rom, use a P2P program (Limewire) (http://www.download.com/LimeWire/3000-2166_4-10421905.html?tag=pop)
and try to find a good one
I got a new copy and it workes:D

What are you talking about, of course after you have beaten the Elite Four and the champion of the leauge it says "Game Over" and credits pop out.... but Pokemon Emerald doesn't end there you know....

i can't save the game on the usual way (like you do with a real gameboy advance). so i save the game by presing "file" in the corner, and save the game in a "sav.file". So when the game starting up after elite four you must load it like the usual way..
*Sorry my English, not so good;p
