All Sonic games are great.
SEGA's greatest games are Phantasy Star RPG series !!!!!
Apart from this we have NBA Jam,Mortal Kombat and much more.

personally ive always been loyal to nintendo and have never even bought a sega console but i suppose there have been a few good games made by em.
the original sonic games, sega rally, and the newer sonic ones on the gamecube r quite good

The Immortal (combat can be a pain for newbies, just hit c and the opposite direction of the enemy swing to dodge, wait till they fatigue then attack using a and direction buttons. It's easy once you get the hang of it, the real fun is the puzzles.)
Out of this World (like a weird dream. strangest game I've ever played, but really cool. Very unforgiving, save often.)

yes you guys all listed some very good games. im very suprised though you forgot (or maby just left out) zero wing. forget the crappy translation at the beginning and actually play the game...its fun! oh yeah and here is a little list to get
