Emulators on an XP

we are thinking of buying a new computer and i didnt recommend an xp because i heard bad things. but just in case:

Which emulators work greatly for the XP? i just want names, not extra files i need that the 2000 doesnt need.

The XP isn't a computer, it's an operating system. If you're not really used to computers, a new Windows XP based computer will suit you fine.

As for which emulators work well - what are you trying to emulate? Just do a web search and find general opinions. We can't list every emulator and give you an off-the-cuff review...

My friends been running everything from FCUE to Kawaks with the whole XP set up for awhile. She tell's me no problems thus far... :)

Most emulators run fine on Xp ive got it and thats all ive used with emus, and if you are getting a NEW, NEW computer they should run even better, what emu's are you going to try and run?
