Can a Saturn read/play a CD-RW after I mod it? Does it depend on the mod chip or does it depend solely on the Saturn's capabilities?
Thanks

Well, I recommend a CDR. It is more safe, really. You have to understand that CD-RWs required a stronger laser intensity than a typical pressed disc or CD-R. Also, the CD-RW mod can hurt the laser over time, you know.
I think Saturn can't read CD-RW discs.

Yes, it can but read above. Therefore, CDR is better, ok ? :)

Again, maybe it will work and maybe it will not work but I repeat that CDR is definitely the best one.
CDR's are so cheap these days anyway, there is really no excuse not to use them.. You can buy them in bulk for very good prices and if you get a bad disc for some reason it's a couple of pennies for your trouble
