Yes it's old but on the front page when a new version of Dolphin was released, he stated that Smash Bros Melee was 100% playable 100% full speed on his crappy computer. How crappy? Can my PC play it?
128MB VRAM GeForce FX 5200
1024MB RAM
1.6GHz P4

LOL.. He is tease with you, no.

You didn't read carefully:

- This version requires a 64bit operating system (either Windows XP64 or Vista64)
- SO IT WILL NOT WORK ON A 32BIT OS (GOT THAT?)
- The graphics/audio plugins haven't been upgraded.
- Due core changes some games might run better, some might run worse or not at all
- Speed is now CPU dependant, dualcore is obviously helps a lot.

No, but it'd be wise to get a real GameCube. It's cheaper.

Well what about the older one that works on 32 bit?

Worse than 64 bit.

Jale is right. The newer version is improvement a lot over the older version so don't bother about getting an older version. It's your decision... Buy a new PC or buy Nintendo Game Cube for 30 dollars. :)
